What does it mean to be human? The Church of England´s Doctrine Commission seeks to address this question here from the perspective of four key elements in human experience: power, money, sex and time. The Commission took as their starting point the Wisdom books of the Old Testament and the books of Luke and Acts in the New Testament. Engaging also with classical Christian teaching and contemporary thought, Being Human offers a ´wisdom´ for our day.
